Education , Training and Past Work Experience

Dr. Prasad-Gaur earned her PhD in School Psychology with a Clinical Child emphasis from Texas A&M University in 1998, through an APA-accredited program.

She completed her pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, providing services to inner-city families at a community behavioral health center. She then went on to complete a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at Sheppard Pratt Health System, a renowned psychiatric care and teaching institution in Towson, MD.

At Sheppard Pratt, Dr. Prasad-Gaur worked within a multidisciplinary treatment team, employing a comprehensive, integrated school and psychiatric treatment approach.
